Strategy Guide : This section is where comprehensive guides in relation to Gameplay can be found. There are guides on building your village, raiding and statistical information. Players who have strategies they would like to include on the wiki should do so here. And This is How To Play Clash of Clans & Cheat of Clash Of Clans
Instructions:
- First you should create a main page for your guides. This should
contain basic information about you as well as a Table of Contents
that links to your other guide(s). Please create this main page even if
you only plan on creating a single guide. This main page should be named
in the following way:
Your Wiki Name's Strategy Guides - After creating the main page for all of your Strategy Guides, you
will then need to create your first Strategy Guide. To do so, create
another page which will be a sub-section for your Strategy Guides. It is
to be named in the following way:
Your Wiki Name's Strategy Guides/Title of the Strategy Guide For example, if your name is GorillaMan and you are making a Strategy Guide about Troops, you would have 2 pages:- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops
- Some Strategy Guides will be very detailed, hence requiring another layer of Guides.
To do this, simply add another / to the end of the name and add another section. For example, if you were to have a Strategy Guide about Barbarians and another about Archers you would create the following pages:- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Barbarian
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Archer
- When you are finished your pages should look something like this:
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides - Main Page of all GorillaMan's Strategy Guides.
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops - Main Page of the Troops Strategy Guide/Sub-Section of the Main Page for all GorillaMan's Strategy Guides.
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Barbarians - Sub-Section of the Troop Guide.
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Archers - Sub-Section of the Troop Guide.
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Barbarians/Clothing - Sub-Section of the Barbarian Section.
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Barbarians/Clothing/Belt - Sub-Section of the Clothing Section.
- GorillaMan's Strategy Guides/Troops/Barbarians/Clothing/Belt/Belt Buckle - Sub-Section of the Belt Section.
Troops : roops are used against either the goblins on the campaign map, or other players in order to win Trophies and loot Gold and Elixir - this is called raiding. Troops are created in Barracks and are stored in Army Camps. Currently there are fifteen different types of normal troops, ten of which require Elixir and are trained in the normal Barracks; the other five require Dark Elixir and are trained in the Dark Barracks. There are also two Hero troops as well.
Players should note that troops can be upgraded in the Laboratory. Tier 1, Tier 2 and Dark Elixir Troops receive a major graphic change at level 3, and another at both levels 5 and 6, if applicable. Tier 3 troops receive graphic changes with all upgrades. As troops are upgraded they become more powerful, but also cost more Elixir (or Dark Elixir) to train.
- Tier 1 troops (Barbarians, Archers, and Goblins) are very powerful when swarming in hordes. However, this makes them very vulnerable to Wizard Towers and Mortars.
- Tier 2 troops (Giants, Wall Breakers, Balloons, and Wizards) are more powerful than Tier 1 but not as powerful as Tier 3. Many of them have specialized targets.
- Tier 3 troops (Healers, Dragons, and P.E.K.K.As) are extremely powerful and are a valuable part of a very powerful army, being able to to overwhelm defenses easily. However, they are extremely expensive in terms of Elixir cost.
- Dark Elixir Troops (Minions, Hog Riders, Valkyries, Golems and Witches) are troops that fill specific niches that the regular troops do not, like inexpensive flying troops, wall avoidance, powerful ground-based splash damage and massive health. They are not necessarily more powerful than their Elixir-based counterparts, but can be used in very effective ways if deployed properly.
- Heroes (Barbarian King, Archer Queen) are immortal troops that are summoned via a permanent altar rather than trained in a Barracks. They are the most powerful troops in the game, but each player may only have one of each type. Although they cannot die in battle, they can be defeated and must rest for a period of time if they take damage.
- Spells are created in the Spell Factory. Upgrade your Spell Factory to get more spells and to be able to hold more spells. You can also research spells in the Laboratory to make them more powerful.

Defensive Building
In Clash of Clans, having a strong defense is as important as having a capable offense. In many ways, defense is even more important.
Defenses serve to safeguard trophies and protect resources from enemy troops. Each defense has its own strengths and weaknesses, and its location in your village should reflect that. For instance, the powerful Mortar is slow-firing, but deals incredible splash damage to ground troops. A downside is that it can't attack troops within four tiles of itself (or air troops at all) - so it should be placed in the center of your village with adequate protection from Air Defenses. On the other hand, Cannons and Archer Towers deal lesser amounts of damage to groups (as they can target and hit only one unit at a time) but attack quicker and work as an effective first line of defense. The Wizard Tower deals incredible splash damage to both ground and air units, but has a relatively short range.

Other Building
These buildings are those that are neither offensive, defensive, or resource-giving. However, they are just as critically important. The Town Hall, for instance, is the heart of the village and regulates what buildings you can have, how many of them you can have, and how far you can upgrade them. The Clan Castle, on the other hand lets you connect with other players in a clan. Decorations are there to decorate your village. Obstacles are trees and rocks which can be found in your village. Clearing them will sometimes gives you Gems.
